I really miss my sweethearts in Minnesota. As you might know I used to work as an au pair in a Swedish family there. I hope that I can go and see them in May.

I have pictures of them everywhere. This is me and the youngest one.

Maybe you remember me talking about getting the pink Nokia C3? Of course I bought it! I really like it since I'm not really into touch phones. The only bad things about it is that the display easily gets scratches and that the camera isn't so good.

Today it's four years ago since I got my driver's license. It's funny how time goes by fast. I have probably spent weeks and weeks in cars driving. I don't mind when it looks like this though, on my way home from work tonight:

Went I went to Brussels I bought a new calender. I have only found boring ones in Sweden but this one was perfect!

Good morning!

Time to get ready for work! Why is the weather so grey today when I need to take pictures outside :/ I'm still working for the same news paper but in a small city at the moment. That's why I both write and take my own pictures. When I'm in the city where the main quarter is I get a photographer with me on my jobs. I don't mind any of it.

Did you know...?

A few weeks ago I got a little tired of pink since it's such a silly color. I often say that I hate loving pink, I just can't help it. So I decided to try to not buy so much pink stuff anymore. How it went? Not so good.

 

Even though this costed 112 dollars (700 SEK) I couldn't resist buying it since it's so soft and cozy.

I ate strawberries for the first time this year!

Time to travel again?

I'm thinking about booking a trip to Minneapolis. We have a school project in May and we don't have to be in school for two weeks so I could do my work in the U.S. I've said that I'm not going to go there until I move to Minnesota but I just can't wait. I was thinking about moving this fall but since I haven't had time to get everything settled I've decided to do it next year instead.

 Time to use it again!

"Drunk" at work

I was writing about some teenagers that was educated in moutain rescue and other things today. They got to try some weird glasses to see how it is to be drunk and drive (or in this case run between poles). I was doing interviews and took a lot of pictures. All of a sudden one of the police men that were there said that I had to try too! So I had to try it in front of everyone as well. I think he got a little disappointed though since I was pretty good at it. But he did take a lot of pictures since he was "holding the camera". Probably the worst pics ever but funny too.

One of my colleagues called me just before this. "I have to hung up now, the police want's me to be drunk" I said without explaining in which way. She must have wondered what I was doing.

In Sweden we have a nailpolish brand called Depend. I like it a lot since the bottles are so small. That means that you never keep them long enough for them to get "old" and dry.

It's almost ten o'clock in the night and I'm finally done working. Today I didn't get any time to go skiing or go for a ride with our snow mobile. Oh well, I've done that a lot this winter already since I'm staying at my mum's temporary.

The last three years I have visited airports 91 times (yes, I'm counting). No wonder they feel like my second home. There's nothing special about flying anymore, it's like taking the bus.

Even though I've been traveling a lot I haven't experienced many delays except for last weekend. When I was going to Stockholm on a conference the airplane got delayed for six hours. I didn't even get upset since it doesn't happen very often. The communication from Scandinavian Airlines could have been better though.

I love their saying on the airplanes btw.

Comeback?

I miss you guys! I'm even considering doing a comeback here in this blog! I'm going to do some posts this week and see if it's still fun and if I have enough time. Or actually, you all know that I'm always busy but maybe I should write more about the things I actually do. I know you like my pictures but it takes a lot of time to take them and edit them so I'm going to focus a little less on that. I'm even going to do some cell phone posts. Of course the quality of those aren't the best but in that way I will be able to update more often.
