Time to catch up

.
Now that I'm feeling better I have lots of magazines to read, I haven't been able to do that when I was sick. I think I spend a fortune (as you've seen) on magazines every month. That's one thing I miss about the States, they're so cheap there. The following Swedish magazines cost between 8-20 dollars each. I suscribe to some of them, which is a bit cheaper, but still.

I think it would be really fun to work at a magazine, and then my profession would be called art director instead of news designer. My dream is to do that in the USA but it's a bit difficult since my native language isn't English.

Do you read as many magazines as I do? :)

Elle was so thick this month...

I guess this is why!

They do a special cover to subscribers, it's much more "clean" and simple than the ones in stores :)

A Swedish magazine that I bought a couple of days ago that I haven't even opened yet.

This is a magazine for people who are working with graphic design. I totally forgot about it until I found it in my suitcase. I brought it from my other apartment since it's mailed there. This is the one that is so expensive, it costs 20 dollars (about 13 Euros). I don't really like the cover this time though, even though it's a famous designer.

  1. I used to read magazines more until I realized I spend way too much money on stuff that is repeated again and again - basically there is nothing new in any given magazine and most things you can find on the internet anyway, including the magazines websites.
But that is my opinion, I know many people who like magazines and buy and read them every month.
If they weren't so expensive or if I could just buy them and not even realize I spent any money at all, I would maybe still buy them as I like to indulge in certain content.

  2. I love reading magazines too. Problem is, I get a lot of them stacked in our living room so complains. Haha!
