The simple life

I went up to the mountains during my stay at home, as you know. And when I say that I don't mean some fancy ski resort with luxury hotels. What I mean is to go to the middle of nowhere, where almost no people live permanently. You just go there to work at the power stations, drive snow mobiles or go hiking.

This time I went to see my family and our friends at their helicopter base. There wasn't any tap water in the cabins since it's too cold for that in the winter. I didn't mind, it was nice to live a simple life in the nature without cell phones or computers for a while.

This was my view when I stood outside and brushed my teeth.

 My mum's shoes.

I drove another one than this though, which you see in the background (the black one).

You can actually spot real lynx up here, which is like big, beautiful wild cats.

This is an adorable dog. She loves to chase her own shadow.

A friend of our families was hurt in a snow mobil accident:/ Luckily she will be okay!

Coming from suburban Australia, a scene like this is foreign to me! We have our mountains, but nothing like this. That is magical!
