You spin my head right round right round

Oh man, I just came home after working for 17 freakin' hours. What happened? I went to work at 8AM and was supposed to come home at 5PM but now all of a sudden it's 5AM - the next day! First I worked at the news section, and then they were in urgent need of someone at the sports section and since I can't say no...

And now Blogger has changed the design of everything and I don't like it at all. I better stop writing anyway considering the condition my brain is in now. Let's look at pictures from when I went riding instead.

I prefer now wearing too much pink when I go riding, but the layers underneath don't matter;)

I found a cute sailor sweater at a shop called Monki. It was on sale and was so cheap (60SEK/6€) that I had to buy it.

Except a bag, magazines and candy I also got this beautiful ring from my mum as an Easter gift.

I found these cute heels at a Swedish shoe shop (Din sko). They are pretty cheap too (300 SEK/30€). I would so have bought them if I was in the need of new heels. Unfortunetly I don't know when I could use them. I don't go clubbing anymore and I can't really wear them to work so I didn't buy them.

In the end...it's the inside that counts

Maybe you've already seen my new headphones in some of the pictures. I used to have a pair that were all pink from Skullcandy, but they broke so I had to get new ones in white and a little pink. Well, those only lasted for three weeks until they broke as well! So I returned them today and got another pair. They're not so pink though, but the salesman said that these are better than the other ones. I guess it was better to listen to him than to buy bad ones because of the color ;)

One of those days...

...when everything goes wrong. Or acutally, maybe "wrong" isn't the right world. One of those days when nothing goes as planned. I have so many plans for my life, I just have to combine them with each other and that's a bit difficult. I wish I could share everything with you, but since I don't even know what will happen that's a bit difficult.

One thing that I can tell you is that I am going to start working at the news section of the newspaper, instead of sports. I think it will be really fun except that I'm going to work daytime next week! That will be difficult since I have only been working nights for five months. Now I will have to wake up when I normally go to sleep. But the worst thing is that I'm not going to have as many days off as I do now, so I'm not sure when I will have time to do my secret super fun thing;)

Because of all of this I ended up spending the day in my sofa, reading magazines, eating candy instead of food and watching the news for hours instead of doing all of those boring things I should. Do you also have those days? :)

I'm back in Stockholm now and today I'm going to see some Swedish friends that I got to know in Minneapolis. I'm so excited since we haven't met since 2008!

It's snowing AND raining so I'm wearing my "uggly" boots ;)

The simple life

I went up to the mountains during my stay at home, as you know. And when I say that I don't mean some fancy ski resort with luxury hotels. What I mean is to go to the middle of nowhere, where almost no people live permanently. You just go there to work at the power stations, drive snow mobiles or go hiking.

This time I went to see my family and our friends at their helicopter base. There wasn't any tap water in the cabins since it's too cold for that in the winter. I didn't mind, it was nice to live a simple life in the nature without cell phones or computers for a while.

Always on my way somewhere

Just some pictures from the last couple of days, and I have more to come (from the mountains).

I tried to make time fly on the train ride to my hometown.

I got lots of stuff from my mum, like a big bag;) I will show you some closeups of the things later.

The bag came in handy since I only stayed at home for a couple of hours before I drove up to the mountains.

Home is where the pink is

It was so nice to arrive to my apartment on Friday. I love coming back to all my things and furniture. I like my place in Stockholm as well but it's just not the same since I haven't decorated so much there and it's not home in the same way.

Unfortunately I didn't get much time to enjoy my wonderful place. I just came there, slept and left. Since it's Easter I wanted to go to my family instead of staying there.

1. Since I was only staying for a night I only bought some things that are "easy" to eat.

2. I also miss my telly a lot. In Stockholm I only have a tiny one.

Happy Easter!

I'm finally in my hometown after traveling forever. But it doesn't end there. I'm only staying here for a couple of hours and rest and then I'm driving up to the mountains two hours away from here. That's where my family is right now and I'm going to celebrate Easter with them.

At the airport

Hey, I'm writing this in 205 km/hour. I'm on the speed train to Arlanda airport. I'm almost there so I don't have time to make a long post right now. But maybe I'll do a new vblog when I'm in the north of Sweden? I also have some pictures of my apartment in Stockholm that you might want to see.

UPDATED. I'm at the airport now. Always in the last minute but still I had time to stop by a café and eat something. I'm just about to board and go to my other apartment. I'm only going to sleep there for one night and then go to my mum's place and stay there for the rest of the time.
